Wizard101 UK

Hey! Today I finally found out what to blog about! I haven't been able to blog much lately trying to figure out what to blog about, and when I was going to blog about it.. So today, I am going to be blogging about Wizard101 UK.

There have been quite a few questions on how to play Wizard101 UK, or how you could play if you are in the United States, Canada, or anywhere else, even questions if you could switch your characters from the US server to the UK server. The post today will be answering some of the questions you have and explaining more about Wizard101 UK....

- If you want to play Wizard101 UK and want to sign up, you can go to this link: Wizard101 UK sign up and sign up for it. You can also view Wizard101 UK's site right here: http://www.wizard101.co.uk/wizard101_en/game/ If you are wondering if you can switch your characters from the US server to this one, you can't. You have to sign up for a new wizard and start over, which is very good! When I signed up it made me feel like I was starting Wizard101 new again like I did a few years ago. I am playing Wizard101 UK and I am from the USA. I am sure if you are from Canada, here in the USA, or even in the UK you can still play it :) At first when I first signed up, I didn't know if I could or not since I am from the US. I found out I could, and joined, and already met great friends on there! Go ahead and sign up if you want :) Prepare though.. to meet great friends! :)

- Wizard101 US and UK are a little bit different. Wizard101 US right now is more updated. Wizard101 has a few new worlds, new spells, robes, etc. That doesn't mean Wizard101 UK is not fun though! Wizard101 UK has parties, contests, and a lot of nice people :) Like I said above you should create an account if you want :D

For more information don't forget to go to their website! I would also like to add that if you can, visit their Facebook page and Twitter! Follow and like for more information that's going on around the Spiral!

Updates! (W101 UK)

Hello Wizards,

This is just an update on a few things that are going on around the spiral, and a few other things that I would like to update. One of the updates are about the Wizard101 UK banner contest, you have until tomorrow to submit your banner! Another update is about my site becoming a full Wizard101 UK site too.

Don't forget about the banner contest. Wizard101 UK made a tweet today that reminded everyone that the Valentines Wizard101 banner contest will be ending tomorrow. If you would like to still submit you art for the banner contest and learn more information about it, go to this link! Valentines Banner Contest
Good luck to everyone who enters, and it looks like a fun contest :)

Another thing I would like to talk about is something that I would like to tell the Wizard101 UK readers. A few weeks ago I signed up to be a Fansite for Wizard101 UK. If I don't get it I will still be blogging about Wizard101 UK. Last year I signed up to be a Wizard101 US site and I wasn't accepted because they stopped accepting any fansite requests, I didn't give up on blogging about the game though. It's a very fun thing to do. I am not only here to become a fansite, I am here because I love blogging about the best game in the world! If I do get accepted I am hoping Wizard101 UK will someday have gift cards, I don't know if they would sell them in the United States though :( If they do, I would love to have contests! I have contests for the Wizard101 US since they have cards here where I can buy them. I am still going to have contests even if I don't get accepted to the fansite list, if they ever make cards for the United States for the United Kingdom. Well that sounds a bit confusing! Well time to end this post!

See you around the Spiral!

Mason Swiftblade's Interview!

Time for another interview with Mason Swiftblade! Thanks again for accepting this interview request Mason. If you all don't know Mason, he runs a blog called The Life of a Wizard- http://masonswiftblade.wordpress.com/ - a great Wizard101 UK fansite. I posted about this blog a couple of times so far, Its a great blog to read, and gives a lot of information about what's going on in Wizard101 UK, and a lot of information about new contests they are having. Don't forget to check out his blog! Now to the interview questions!

Question 1)
When did you start Wizard101, and what did you like about it once you started playing?

Mason:
I started playing Wizard101 in 2008, when the game first came out. I was about 8 or 9 then. I found out about it when I was for another game called Toontown. I accidentally clicked the Wizard101 ad and when I saw it, I liked it! I decided to start playing. My first wizard was life. I accidentally deleted him ( I trained balance, storm and some other random wizard101 spells lol) and started my death wizard on the US server and he's now level 60. As you know, I also have my ice character on Wizard101 UK, who is legendary too.

Question 2)
What was your first favorite spell?

Mason:
If you mean my first favorite spell, it must have been ghoul. I loved the fact that you could attack an enemy and get health back for yourself :) At the moment, my favorite spell has to be Frost Giant :D I love its animation!

Question 3)
You have a internet safety tab on your blog, whats your number one rule for everyone to stay safe online?

Mason:
Everything I write about online safety I think are very important. But, if we must choose most important, it must be to ask your parents permission before you do anything that you your subconscious can lead to trouble.

Me:
I added this link to the interview, so you can see his online safety tips again! They are very good, if you would like to see them click this: Mason's Online Safety Tips

Question 4)
What inspired you to start blogging?

Mason:
I got inspired to blog when I saw the Friendly Necromancer's blog. His blog is so cool and I love his posts! and now people say my blog is the "UK" equivalent to his! :D

Question 5)
Just like I asked Friendly in an interview a few days ago, do you have any advice for new bloggers, or anyone planning on starting a wizard101 blog?

Mason:
Don't jump into blogging. Its not a cake walk. You must prepare what you do. I once asked Ditto Monster on Twitter if he could recommend me to others and I'm saying exactly what he said to me. He told me I need to prepare a brand of sort. Build my identity and show what I do. I think that's what I've done. So, for all of the new bloggers, make sure to spend a bit more time on your blog and build your identity. :)

Question 6)
What are your likes and dislikes about Wizard101?

Mason:
I like Wizard101's storyline. The first I got a subscription and jumped into Krokotopia, I couldn't stop playing. The storyline is so interesting and you wonder what happens next :) The game is a challenge and I like it! My favorite world has to be Marleybone (obviously) because it has all of these places I have been to! Funny thing  actually, IRL, I live near Chelsea Court :P. What I don't like about it is how the chat filter is so exaggerated. Of course, kids like me and you use words that might not be appropriate and I get that, but it shocks me how creative some kids can be and how they won't stop to pass that filter. I was shocked to find the simplest word was a banned word. Shocking.

Question 7)
Is there anything else you would like to say about yourself to tell the readers to end this interview? :)

Mason:
I get a lot of questions on Twitter on how to use Wizard101 UK, etc. A lot of you already know that I am starting my own Ravenwood Radio segment that will be on the show. If you do want to ask me questions, send them to wizard101ukdigest@gmail.com : I will answer as many as I can! Other than that, be sure to check out my blog if you already haven't :)

Thank you again for accepting the interview Mason!

Mason:
- Thanks Ed! Was fun doing it!

I am really glad you accepted the interview, and I hope everyone checks out your blog. I am glad to hear about your new ravenwood radio segment! Congratulations :) The interview was great, and I am glad other wizards know more about you!

Wizard101 UK's Valentines Day banner contest!

My third post in one day. I think that may be an all time record :) Anyways, I am making another post because Wizard101 uk is having a contest that has something to do with art! If you are interested read on!

Wizard101 Uk's Facebook just posted the contest announcement yesterday, and this contest is about creating a banner for Valentines day! Tournament ( W101 UK)

Hello!

The tournament started Monday on the Wizard101 UK server! It is really great because Wizard101 UK will be giving away 10,000 crowns who registered, who wins the most battles in pvp! Good luck to all of those who registered to win! Oh and if you didn't register in time, you can still play pvp for free!

Wizard101 UK's facebook page posted some information about this tournament so, if you are reading from the united states and don't know much about this tournament I would suggest you go to the twitter page for Wizard101 uk or the Facebook page. Its late to register but not late to go into pvp and start ranking up! This seems like a great thing for the game and I wish the us server would do this, but 20 million wizards are playing on the us server so that would be terrible for pvp on the us server. I am glad wizard101 uk is doing it though, it sounds like a very fun contest/ tournament! Here are a few photos of everyone training a few days ago for the tournament!

Good luck again to all of those who entered to win the 10,000 crowns or 2 month club membership! See you around the spiral!
